  • You will need: Hair Dryer, Ruler, Scissors, Tissues/Towel

STEP 1: Edit the size and shape of your image.

STEP 2: Print the image on the glossy coated side of the paper.

STEP 3: Next, cut out the image with a pair of scissors or a craft knife.
*If you are using the white paper, cut out very carefully around the image, if you leave any border around the image they will appear later.
*If you are using the clear paper, you can leave a small boarder around the image since it's clear, you won't be able to see it.

STEP 4: Once the decal has been cut out, place the decal  into a bowl of water leave for up to 30 seconds.
*In cold weather use warm water.
*Before you place the decal onto your project, wet the surface of your project with water. This will allow you to move the image easily so you can position it in the right place.

STEP 5: If you have soaked the decal for long enough, you will be able o feel the backing paper and decal transfer easily slipping. (Do not remove at this stage) Take the decal out of the water and place it facing up onto your project. Then carefully slip the decal paper slightly and attach the lip of the decal on the surface.

STEP 6: Then gently pull the backing of the paper away leaving the decal transfer to stick to the surface while supporting the decal at the same time with your other hand.

STEP 7: Once the decal has been attached to the surface, move it around to the desired position. Once you have positioned the decal, use a rubber scraper to remove any water or air bubbles underneath the decal transfer. You can also use a lint free cloth to do this. You need to handle the decal with care at this stage as it is very fragile.

STEP 8: If you leave it out to dry, the decals will dry in 3-4 hours.
*If you are working in a cold environment, we advise you to dry the decals using a hair dryer.
